L'ile aux Cocos

First time with family on a Saturday evening in July, the room was full on our arrival. Very affordable and quality ratio impeccable price. Flat-entry menu dessert at 25€, and some aperitives on the island theme, not bad. The plates unfortunately lack a little refinement both in the tastes and presentation, one cannot help but think of a slightly improved canteen. The service is over. The restaurant being almost empty, the boss preferred to sit at a table of faithful to discuss with them, turning our back and no longer dazzling to look at us until the end of the meal, except to cash the check. Since the two remaining waitresses were not involved, it took three requests to have a water carafe. A lack of attention regretted. To sum up, a good address for a quick lunch at noon, but there is a little something in the kitchen and service to make it a great establishment.

A nice setting, just like the patronage... delicious home cooking: rougail, curry, Christophine doughnuts, well-dobed spices. We all enjoyed recipes that smell the Indian Ocean. Not to mention the rums arranged. Reasonable rates. We've been there twice in three days. I hope to go back there someday...
