Exciting and delicious menu and a very beautiful and knowledgeable waiter sommelier. but our meat dish was almost cold, which was a little sad. we hope for a high fifth next year!
We were recommended to visit by the dame, who owned a bakery in a nearby city. we had to start the broth and the deaf as main courses and the scallops and foie gras. everything was extraordinary.
This restaurant with room is in a small village approx. 15 min n the autobahn a9 30 min from perpignan. in an old family-run hotel (only 4 bedrooms, although so early booking if you want to stay overnight) the dining room. also has a large outdoor terrace with sun umbrellas would be an ideal place for a good lunch and dinner. good selection of menus for dinner from less than 40 to over 100 € a reasonable wine list with a good value as well as expensive wine. the food we had was excellent, reasonable quantities, but good local products cooked excellent. service was also very efficient wthout overly pretentious. the breakfast we had was also excellent with a large selection of not only the usual brot croissant, but also a large selection of Catalan meat sausages. a nice note. only at the bottom is the lack of a parking space the necessary to find somewhere to park on the road. good value for money for a change for a michelin rosette resataurant. next time we will visit again when we pass this one.
We were a large group of 10 and opted for the 3 course lunch menu for about €30-40 euros a head. Food was excellent and the setting on the terrace was beautiful. Staff were friendly but we were left hanging for long periods of time...at certain points, including having to remind staff to bring wine that we had ordered half an hour before. We were there for almost 4 hours, which was a lovely experience on the whole but the attentiveness of the service definitely falls short of what I've experience in other Michelin starred places. Great food and great wine came to about €60-70 each, good value for a special lunch. I would return.
