Charlie O's - MONTPELIER

The bartender is extremely rude if you're not part of the Montpelier subculture. It's evident to those from out of town as well. If you're in the right crowd, the place is fine. The prices are reasonable, and it's easily accessible.

Came last night for a friend of 21st birthday drinks, was very excited as she is able to get her first drink on a bar and I have always loved charlie o’s. now I'm embarrassed that I braided how great a place it was. bar delicate, smoking outside and finished, saw us arrive and we stood before smoking for a few minutes before entering for a drink. Go inside and she comes up and says: "I will stop you there, I saw you outside smoking a grasstick and I will not serve you". I can respect the law and the cash that it maintains, but what I do not respect is how absolutely rude and unnamed for the entire interaction. they could have easily told us when they saw us in front of the front, and we could not have even been able to interfere. I think she wanted a reason to push us with her reaction to the situation. she claims she doesn't know if we're coming or not after watching us park our cars in front of the place. somehow there was nothing else open on the road, so people usually move to charlie os to have a smoke in front of themselves? weird. will not be back.

I was cut off from ordering another beer by the bartender, Wolfie. I wouldn't recommend going there.

The blonde bartender was quite unprofessional. I felt discriminated against because we didn't see eye to eye. It seems like there might have been a gender bias in her behavior towards us, which is unfortunate, especially in 2022. The place was also dirty. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant if you feel different. On a positive note, the other patrons were very friendly; it's just disappointing that they have to deal with such a bartender.

A very fun local dive bar! The bartender was awesome. The pool table fun hangs with friends can't be beat! Can't wait to go back.
