Tamarillos - Montpellier

We picked up that restaurant thanks to its fishes choice as a menu du jour in this nice and quiet place...But it turned that even we were waiting for a fourth friend, i couldn't imagine that service would be that poor and that long...Asking for one thing, and the lovely and smily waitress would try to satisfy it. But only one by one... menus... drinks... ashtray... availability of dishes of the day...It took us 15 min to get 2 draft beers and one coke. The terrass wasnt even busy. I now understand why the next door restaurant were 3 times busier than that one.rank #900++ is now solvedto be honest, considering service, prices and food quality, better had tried the restaurant next door at few meter which is ranked #100++ called "le nouveau monde"Sorry Philippe Chapon but you definitely should reconsidering your customers instead of counting only on your eatable flowers and on your desserts...

If there's an additional reason so spend a complete day in the historical part of Montpellier,it's to have the opportunity to take a long lunch break at Tamarillos. The formal chief pastry of Guy Savoy is now here to awake your palate and eyes with creative meals!Ask him for your wine as well,you'd be able to touch a quantum of simple perfection.

I think we chose the wrong day. We were the only guests at lunch, it's done something with the atmosphere. but pleasant and friendly staff, and good food. I think we won't remember because of the restaurant. but food is very good.

As the chef says, the power of flowers and fruits, in the menu you will find delicious and healthy options that are very nicely decorated with flowers and natural flavors. I had the coconut milk asparagus and the green lemon scallops and both were delicious. service is also remarkable. If you're looking for something refreshing and you like fruits and flowers, it's a good place to visit. We were 4 adults with 3 children under 3 years old and the patience and support of the waitress were great! Thank you for that!

We went to this restaurant with 3 children and it didn't pose any problems! The waitress was so nice and helpful! Moreover, the food was delicious - fresh and so colorful!
