As a certified coeliac, I was delighted to find this gluten-free restaurant with excellent service. The dishes were delicious, well-seasoned, and served in large portions. I highly recommend this restaurant for coeliacs - it's a hidden gem worth discovering. The owners should be proud of their beautiful establishment. Congratulations!
You know sometimes you go to a restaurant, the food is good but the service is so meh that you cannot give them the five starsWell, that was the case
This restaurant is a lovely and inviting spot to enjoy some delicious fish and chips during the week.
I discovered this place when looking for places that had gluten-free options. I would call this place a hidden Gem in the TripAdvisor world. Ad Hoc is a small place with a server and a chef. First I want to say as soon as your food is done it gets delivered! It was piping hot. The fish and chips was a generous portion. You can order haddock or cod or both. I ordered the cod and it was very fresh. The gluten-free batter was outstanding. My friend loved it as well. This was the first time I had Glutenberg Beer on draft. It was very good and it went great with the dinner. The Cole slaw was very fresh and light. The fries were good. The one thing that I do not understand is why would you have a non gluten-free vinegar at a gluten-free restaurant. That would be the only thing that I would change. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their meals. I really appreciate having a restaurant with very good quality that is safe for my gluten sensitivities.
