We also sampled the BBQ chicken, which was my least favorite dish. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. All the pizzas are topped with a fresh salad.
The pizzas and sub sandwiches at amelia are delicious! I started with a vegetarian pizza with a perfect crust, thin or thick, and slightly crispy. Even my boyfriend, who never eats crusts, loved it! I also tried the eggplant and cheese submarine, which I highly recommend. I had to stop myself from eating too quickly! Despite the slightly difficult parking situation (milton skull), I will definitely be returning.
My wife and I visited Amelia's Pizza recently while vacationing in Quebec. We split the florentine pizza and the ham submarine. Let's begin with the sub. My ham was pretty basic, it was (over)loaded with shredded cheese. However, the house Italian dressing was an excellent addition, making the sandwich full of flavor. Speaking of flavorful, the pizza florentine was one of the best non-traditional pizzas I've had recently. The spinach-artichoke sauce as a base was brilliant! The cheese was very tasty, and there wasn't too much or too little. The crust was impeccable, and I'd eat just that all day! Our waiter was extremely helpful and service was speedy enough. The atmosphere is very simple but elegant for a pizza place. In case you're interested, it is a BYO alcoholic beverages. Also, it is cash only, but they do have an ATM on site with a reasonable fee.
Excellent and fresh ingredients with good portions for your money. Quality product cozy atmosphere. Great place for a lunch or a supper date with friends or just to order out/in.
Bring your own wine. A very nice find in MTL. Food was good and although it is small -it was a cozy atmosphere. No reservations so a wait may be required.
