In all due fairness, I was starving and a bit hungover. Already a rough start. Slowwww service... one cook and one helper, one waitress.... one thing in mind, one stomach, one love. Stop. Wait, I wait again. We order, we wait. And waited again. BUT THEN, the light came, the food was surprisingly GREAT!!! Seriously, not because I was starving, because it was really good. They pay attention to details and quality there. No kidding. Worth trying, I would go again...but not starving next time. Can't please everyone I guess. But it was worth the wait.
Great food and very friendly owner/staff!! The duck confit sandwich and chicken sandwich were awesome! You can even bring your own wine and they will cork it for you!!
We were out looking for something a bit different from the standard benny brunch and happened on the Bazar Café by accident - and were very glad we did! Everything coming out of kitchen - and it's an open kitchen so we could watch things go out - looked great. I had La Marocaine - great balance of fresh herbs and a bit of a spicy bite. My partner had the Croque Madame - egg, duck confit, and eggplant - very tasty. We were interested in sharing the date crepe for dessert but were way too full. Portions are generous. And I love the idea of byo bubbly for mimosas - next time we'll know! Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, very reasonable prices.
This charming restaurant offers a variety of brunch dishes and unique Moroccan-inspired dishes.
I visited Bazar Café on a Friday morning and noticed that it started to get busier around 11AM, with even more people expected to arrive around noon.
