The owner is super nice, the food is amazing. For the bún mâm, i will say that this is the best in montreal.
Cozy, family-owned business restaurant. There is nothing fancy about this place, the food will speak for itself. Before Covid, this place always busy with pick up and customers inside, so you have to prepare for the wait time. They are famous for “Bún Mắm” (let’s called it Spicy Seafood soup), my favorite and it’s amazing. “Canh bún” and “Bún chả mực” also awesome. For those can’t eat spicy, please make sure to check with the chef/owner because the heat in the soup is no joke. You might feel pricey when you see the price for a bowl of soup, but trust me the portion is fair and generous. You can pay cash and debit. During covid time, they’re open for pick up and the portion still generous.
Came here recently during COVID and was extremely disappointed with the quality. My friends and I order Bun Mam Do Bien and the food was such a small portion. The noodle was broken in uneven sizes and the toppings was way less than before. The owner added tip himself before giving us the bill and when I asked about the quality he said that you need to mention you want more ?!?. They only have 1 size. Not worth the price and certainly not during COVID.
The food at this restaurant is incredible. I have been going there since I was a child. It is a Vietnamese restaurant that serves noodles that are unique compared to the more common Pho dish.
