It was conveniently located within 3 blocks of our VRBO and offered an extensive menu for both breakfast and lunch. Since I have an egg allergy, I opted for a bagel and muffin while the rest of my group enjoyed a variety of delicious egg dishes. The presentation of the food had a French flair, but it was the owners who truly made our breakfast unforgettable. They provided us with insider tips on navigating the construction-filled streets of Montreal and even gave us advice on where to park near the Oratorio of St. Joseph to avoid any traffic accidents. The owners were friendly, outgoing, and charming, and the food they served was fresh, delicious, and carefully made. Though it was a bit pricey, the wonderful experience we had with the owners made it a must-visit for our group of four.
I have been to this bistro several times over the past few years and finally had the opportunity to visit again today. It is a lovely bistro with a beautiful decor featuring modern industrial farmhouse themes. The ambiance is cozy and the place is super clean. They also have a stunning private dining room for events and meetings. The menu is a bit limited for breakfast, with options like real Montreal bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries. For lunch, they offer soups, sandwiches, and salads, all of which are very fresh and simple. The staff, who might be the owners, are friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the lack of decaffeinated coffee options, but they were able to make me a decaf espresso which was quite good. I do wish they were open on weekends as well, as I would love to visit more often. Overall, it's a great spot that caters to the changing tastes of the neighborhood and is perfect for meeting friends or enjoying a quiet read. I will definitely be back and would recommend giving it a try.
The restaurant is housed in a stunning historical building with fitting decor. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is primarily open on weekdays for breakfast and lunch, catering to the business crowd. Despite its deceiving size, the restaurant actually offers ample space with private rooms for meetings and conferences. The old wooden beams and layout add charm to the space.
This assessment is based on a single experience. Had a cappuccino there: it was unnoticed. The coffee tasted bad. Service was nice.
Great tiny local restaurant located on the corner of a street and popular with students from the closeby college. Great panninis at lunch.
