Location cannot be disputed as it is inside the science Centre in the old Port.Small in size, but overlooking water from one side, and offering a decent variety of sandwiches and drinks for a reasonable price.Had a Cappucino which was excellent. Strong tasty coffee and a nice froth. Cost 4$ and guy was very nice and served it fast.Recommended!
Hailing from Western Canada, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that Van Houtte also operates coffee shops, as we had previously only known them for their retail coffee. We enjoyed our visits to the coffee shops, stopping in a few mornings for breakfast. The food was delicious, the lattes were fantastic, and the customer service was friendly.
Great café with great coffee and all kinds of delicious items, Danish, scones, sandwiches, wraps. Loved it!
We had been wandering around the frozen pier just after the big storm that brought March in like a lion, and were getting a bit peckish. Before our eyes, there was this lovely cafe, lit up like a friendly beacon, waiting for us. We entered, and left after a good hour, with no rushing from anybody. The coffee was delicious, and the muffin and macadamia nut cookies were scrumptious! Such a little haven of warmth and comfort on a cold day! It was our first time in a Van Houtte, and hopefully not our last.
