The tacos were ' dead'. They had no dressings, just a blob of sour cream on 1 or 2 tacos, or some lettuce. We had to order the dressings as extras, and we were charged for them. The tacos were cold and tasted old. The churros were cold too e told the cashier we wanted 4 separate bills, and she ended up adding the total meals together and dividing it by 4!!! That is very stupid since our meals were not the same! . This was a terrible experience, never going back! The only good thing was the cute attentive waiter
While inside this small joint, you get a reminder of what it's like in Mexico. Limited but traditional menu, simple well executed food. Service is fast but rough; a young man served us but was barely paying attention to us. Prices are low.
I was very happy to see Frida upgrade to larger location. We enjoyed the special, 3 tacos and soup. The soup is pretty much broth with tortillas, the tacos are tasty, enjoyed booth porks and the chicken. Homemade hibiscus style juice was good as well.
Everything was great. The owners run the resturant, so they are invested in getting everything right. Enjoy!
Small restaurant that is very family oriented. We ordered the fish, and nopales tacos. Very tasty. The tortilla soup I found was disappointing as it was on the spicy side with little substance. The tortilla strips in the soup was crunchy.
