What a happiness, because it was excellent and the only spoken sound was French. There were three of us and everyone... tried something else, Steak-Tetar, spicy fish soup and steak-fried.... proportions were generous and delicious and fast arrived. Both steak and tartaric acid were accompanied by mouth mixed salads and a plentiful, paper cone of frits. We had also treated ourselves to dessert, the dessert of the day was a soup bowl of the floating island and a melted chocolate cake with a bunch of whipped cream. We were very happy and ready to go with more energy than I thought possible. Service was very good considering the amount of people, the bathroom in the basement clean and you need to look into a clean kitchen with smiling staff. A wonderful experience.
My first visit to this cozy café in Rosemount, my friend had a matcha tea (which had the necessary "wonder" but good taste) and I had a very good Decaf Americano followed by a roiboos that were just right combo for the ice -30c Montreal... we know in January. Service was friendly and once ordered, served immediately, although a bit long to get attention at times. The bathrooms are clean, and the amount is easy to go. The window seats are private, but obviously significantly cooler, as they offer less insulation from the outside.
I've been to Cafe Lezard twice. The first time I went with a friend on Sunday afternoon at the beginning of September 2018. I had the house limonade that was very good and my friend had a bowl of caffeine latte. I don't know if he liked it when I didn't ask him, but he drank everything so it wasn't terrible. I went back a few weeks later in September for a late dinner. My friend and I both had the Chile that came with a salad. It was good and the part was just perfect for both of us. I also had a glass of Chianti that was good and went well with Chile. You seem to have a decent list of wines. My friend and I shared the cream. The taste was good, but the center was not solid at all, almost liquid, so I think they need some work there. I ordered the London Fog, who was perhaps on the somewhat too sweet side, and I tend to like it sweet, so it might be even more the case for people who don't like it at all. My friend had a jasmine tea and that was good. I love the calm and gentle mood and the retro lighting. So many places of brass music today as if we were all deaf or not wanted to talk to the person before us. Or they'll bomb you with TV screens that don't make any sense if you're not a sports bar. I'm not going out to see TV and I don't need anyone I've got anywhere. Thanks for getting this. There are some books on the wall I love. My friend and I found the chairs that are uncomfortable backwards. The seat next to the wall is good. The service was okay, nothing great. I will definitely try other dishes and drinks again. I'd like to go if they play a band.
Easy, but very good food. Especially the Burrito was excellent. The atmosphere was pretty cool. Very relaxed and welcoming
By a wonderful autumn evening, what better setup than eating drinking outside on the terrasse, listening to jazz music while enjoying great food and drinks. It's a small and cozy place that is a must go to destination. The inside decor is very simple...but the ambiance you get with the musicians playing is just awesome. Personally not so fun during winter when all are inside cause of the small size of the place but you can still feel that proximity of the ambiance, staff, other client with makes it unique. Try it out !
