Dandy - Montréal

We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday morning when it opened at 10 a.m. to avoid the long weekend lines, and we were seated right away. The chicken sandwich was outstanding, with a crispy exterior and juicy, delicious meat. The pasta, though unexpected for brunch, was also excellent, with a good portion size and a perfect balance of flavors and textures. We didn't try any dessert dishes other than the maple option, which was good but not as impressive as the hearty selections we enjoyed. I would definitely return in the future and perhaps try their ricotta pancakes for a different experience.

Absolutely delicious! at the first visit of this restaurant we arrived at 10 o'clock and had to wait about half an hour to take a place. the atmosphere and decorations were amazing, just something to consider was some spinnwebs along the window, but super clean in the restaurant. server was super attentive and fast with our eating, but give us enough space to enjoy our meal. the food was delicious! recommend the mushroom toast and the side of the fries. super simple and hearty, will come back!

Dandy was recommended and when I found out that there are only a few minutes walk from my hotel. I made a point for Sunday brunch. I warned against the line. it took about 35-40 minutes from the time when I arrived in the line to take place. it was worth the waiting imo. I sat in a very comfortable table for 1st server was friendly and didn't let me feel rushed. I ordered a dandy martini, mushroom toast and buttermilk chicken sandwich with a butter maple tart and peanut butter cup cookie to go. martini was good, but the olives that came with him felt frozen. mushroom toast was absolutely tasty and I recommend every mushroom lover. buttermilk chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious as well. the combination of all the aromas from the chicken, the homemade swamp and sauce all on a homemade brioche book had to sing my taste buds. I don't have the maple butter tart, just because I don't think it's for me. However, the peanut butter cookie was a great addition to my meal. I'm looking forward to the return.

I’ll start by saying every member of the staff here are very pleasant and charming. The espresso was very good quality and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered ricotta pancakes with caramelized apples, bacon and brown butter syrup and it was heavenly. I don’t mean it lightly when I say this restaurant gave me the best pancake experience of my life. The portions were also extremely reasonable. I’m only sad that I did not have enough room to try more items on their menu.
