Impasto - Montréal

Impasto is the right resto looking for an updated approach to classical Italian cuisine in a fun but not over the top atmosphere. The restaurant has a casual vibe but a somewhat upscale menu offering that is limited but sure to please most. There is also small terrace on Dante street (in the summer time).We began with fresh bread with ricotta in honey (good but very sweet), sharing a Salad Verde (simple but good), Tuna Tatare (very fresh and tasty), and fresh made ricotta gnocchi [in the basement of the restaurant] (excellent...lighter than normal gnocchi).Service was on point and we really got along with our server. Enjoy!Parking: Parking in Little Italy is always an issue especially during construction season...come early or be prepared to drive around until you find something.

Polished yet comfortable setting. Feel like an elevated neighbourhood restaurant. Food was fantastic and the services are great too. Can't complain about anything.

Just happened to be walking by, and found this great place for lunch. Terrific meal, especially the amazing gnocchi. Nice friendly service. Some of the tables are a little too close together, but that's my only complaint. Looking forward to coming back someday.

Best Italian restaurant that I have ever been to, I am speechless! From the service to the quality of food to the atmosphere! Just WOW ! I came all the from Toronto and it was worth the drive ! I will DEFINITELY be back!
