India's Oven - Montréal

The waitress was friendly, but I found the food to be subpar. However, everyone has their own tastes.

This was my second visit to the restaurant, and I made a reservation for my birthday with my close friends. The staff and the manager are incredibly friendly and kind. The place is clean, the food is delicious, and the service was excellent! Additionally, it's a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) establishment!

The food is excellent, and it's a classic Indian restaurant. While the ambiance isn't perfect, you know what to expect. The staff is very friendly. However, they did turn up the lights at 10 PM, shut off the music, and promptly asked us to leave at 10:30 PM, even though we were celebrating a birthday with 20 people. We still had food on our plates and bottles of wine to finish, but that didn't seem to matter. So, if you're planning to enjoy a leisurely meal, I'd recommend arriving early.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant to order from. I tried lamb thali from another place once when they were closed, and it just didn't compare. I usually order the lamb thali with extra garlic naan and veggie samosas. The prices are great, and the flavors and portion sizes are excellent. I highly recommend it!

I ordered the non-vegetarian thali, and while the butter chicken and naan were delicious, the tandoori chicken piece was quite disappointing and stale.
