Our server, Mikael, put together a tasting menu with no restrictions, and the sommelier Jonathan handled wine pairings (which were well suited, and his descriptions/backstories were informative entertaining without being snooty). We showed up right at opening time with no reservation and got a table for 4 right by the open doors/windows, exactly as we 'd hoped for. Service was phenomenal, both Mikael and Jonathan were personable attentive without being overbearing, just perfect timing on everything.All of the food was great, and there are enough positive reviews here I won 't go dish by dish, but experience wise I was struck by the cognac bone marrow luge the hollowed the bone marrow of the oxtail ragout and poured cognac exactly like it sounds. Kind of absurd but tasty and memorable (and I 'd also say it worked well...I 've had porkbelly accented whiskey drinks that seem too right/fatty but this was a quick experiential pour so I liked it).

Even though I walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night, they were able to accommodate us without any issues. The staff was attentive and courteous throughout the evening, which truly enhanced our experience.When it comes to the food, Jellyfish offers a diverse range of shareable dishes, making it perfect for exploring new flavors with friends. The prices are also very affordable, making this culinary experience even more enjoyable.I highly recommend Jellyfish restaurant to anyone looking for a beautiful ambiance, excellent service, and a diverse menu of shareable dishes.
Food is overrated with 6 carrots costing us 30$ ridiculous Service was strange the waistress kept of pushing on playes on the Menu and was not listening to us I ordered a cocktail and I swear I could have done a better job myself gin and juice is not a cocktail overall experience was bad! good thing we were good company to each other will not come back EVER!
Not only great dining experience, but outsatnding. Mathieu is certainly one of our brigthest shinning star amoung our chefs in MTL. Treat yourself to a place that delivers a beautiful environment, a fine service and a superb food experience
I was sat the bar beside the ONLY two other patrons ! The fish was undercooked and had to be returned. Other than that the rest was fine.
