John Michael's Pub - Montréal

About 95% of people sat outside and they sat almost everyone immediately that they could. The waitresses and front end staff worked hard to get everyone everything that they needed quickly. I was impressed. The inside is definitely pub style. The bathrooms were clean. The bartender spoke very good English. It looked like most people enjoyed a Molson Canadian draft beer or a cocktail. I had the fish tacos but it was more like traditional fish and chips without the chips in a street taco tortilla. I would recommend something else. The presentation was nice but not the right taste.

Friendly staff, great food and drinks. Also being right on the main drag was great. Lots going on while you enjoyed a wonderful meal. Already went there 2 times in 5 days.

Our waitress was very rude. She discussed with us for several minutes about the tip we gave and we didn‘t even like our cider. When we finally stopped her with complaining, she gave us our change in 0.25$ coins but less than we wanted. It was a very bad decision to go into that pub. Never experienced something like this.

Cool atmosphere for people watching and listing to street musicians. Veggie burger was plain and flavourless, but for some reason they have the best dill pickles here.

Great place to people watch if you can get a spot on the terrace.Nice and relaxed atmosphere, really good staff that were quick to serve and friendly as well.There was a street performer playing right across the terrace. I’m not sure he added to the atmosphere!We had a few beers and the poutine which were ok.Rob recommends: an excellent early evening drink on the terrace, the street performer might not be for you though
