While the food was great, the staff member serving us had a rude attitude that made me feel uneasy. Despite this, the coffee was good. I would still recommend giving it a try.
This hidden gem is a tiny espresso bar with only about 20 square feet of space located right in front of the Mont-Royal Metro Station on Avenue du Mont-Royal East. During our 5 days in Montreal, we found ourselves stopping there 4 times in the morning or before catching the subway. The charismatic owner makes great coffee - it's strong and flavorful. The menu offers a variety of espresso-based drinks and even hot chocolate. The owner's personal favorite is the americano coffee.
Fantastic coffee served by a friendly woman under the stairs! The coffee is absolutely amazing! Catch them as they exit the subway, they won't be disappointed!
This little place (it's really just a window) made a great laugh. I wish they had soy milk or other non-milk alternatives. the gale at the window was very sweet.
Swung by this little hole on the wall as one of my last stops in Montreal, as I was craving some good coffee. All in all, the iced americano was fantastic, but the guy working the booth gave off a very offputting vibe, which made...me uncomfortable. Maybe I'm just being difficult. Either way, great coffee. I still recommend it.
