Le Uptown - Montréal

The quality of the food was subpar. I ordered the fish and chips, and it tasted like cheap frozen fish sticks. There was barely any fish in the middle, and it was covered in a dry breadcrumb coating, without any tartar sauce. My partner ordered coquilles St. Jacques, which also tasted like a reheated frozen meal, and it wasn't even heated properly—it arrived just warm. We had to send it back to get it warmed up. The waiter was nice and friendly, though.

Restaurant empty, staff incompetent, problem in the kitchen. We left without food!

The waitress came by to check on us, and when we mentioned that the dish was not what we ordered, she acknowledged that it wasn't arancini but fish. I was surprised that she didn’t mention it upfront. It was incredibly fortunate that I tried it first and not my allergic friend! My other friend had the mac and cheese and tasted some apple compote, while the tartare had dried cranberries mixed in – something that wasn’t mentioned in the description. Additionally, the cuts of the meat were quite irregular, with some pieces measuring around 5 cm long. We were all sincerely disappointed. I had seen enticing photos on Instagram, and it certainly didn’t match what we were served.

So we went to the brunch. the food was very tasteful and the service was excellent I asked for whipped cream and they didn't have something, but the cook made something of ground up. it was a very pleasant experience, very taught

What can I say? Love this place the tapas are yummy! I definitely recommend this new restaurant if you're looking for a island feeling.
