I've been to this Mckibbins so many times that I've lost count.
Where: McKibbins St-Laurent - Montreal, QuebecWhat: An Irish bar/pub.How was it: We like coming here from time to time, for a cold one or a quick bite to eat. The service isn't always the best nor the quickest. It's best to come here when it's a little quieter but then you may see the waitresses chatting as opposed to bringing your order. It's a toss up, but we like the atmosphere amongst friends and the ambiance so we keep coming back.Grade: Eli = 4, Serge = 3+Recommend: Yeah, it's a nice place to hang out.
Sat at the bar and had a Harp lager, with a cup of seafood chowder (tasty and not overly creamy) and 6 medium sauce wings. The wings came with a mound of crispy fries, celery and carrots, with Ranch dressing. All were pretty good. Service was prompt and friendly. The bartender was suffering from a swollen jaw due to having a tooth pulled the day before, but she was working hard and not letting her discomfort in the way. A real trouper!
