You order at the counter from a choice of 5 or 6 varieties of pasta that you then combine with a choice of 7 or 8 different sauces. The one I chose, the Gina, was the most ordinary in taste in addition to not having been served hot enough. The portions are generous and the price very affordable, but in terms of taste, we are very far from a WOW.
Very nice neighborhood restaurant. We combine a type of fresh pasta with one of their many sauces to make a good pasta dish. The desserts are also delicious, especially the caramel brownie.
My visit to Pâtes Bol was disappointing. On the kitchen side, my pasta was a bit lacking in cooking and the sauce didn't taste much. I had to go get a salt shaker at the counter to enhance the taste. Then, in terms of the restaurant experience, it was ruined by one of the employees who pretended he was in his living room. He came to get the salt shaker on our table to season his dinner and took a personal call at a volume such that we could hear the interlocutor as if he were in the restaurant. Then he continued his conversation by blocking the bathroom door and barely squeezed to let me through when I wanted to go.
The owners are excellent, as are the concept and the dishes offered. : you choose your bowl from a selection with atypical names… You choose your pasta and you choose your sauce… To be tested!
A simple and cute decor. A warm welcome. But above all, a friendly concept where the customer creates his experience from A to Z: from the choice of the bowl to the choice of the type of dough, including of course the choice of the sauce. Varied sauces, classic or original, but simply delicious! I fell in love with the one with Brussels sprouts and candied lemon. Everything is concocted before our eyes, it's natural and delicious, the portions are generous and make you want to come back. New: three very nice private import wines. In short, an address to keep in its good gourmet plans at a reasonable price.
