Pincette à Homard - Montréal

Extremely disappointed! Been wanting to try this one for a while now and we will never set food here again. We found the lobster equivalent to the Griswold turkey. 1 half lobster plate and the risotto with lobster tail. Very very disappointing. Could barely remove the meat from the tails, so so dry and over cooked. Only a tiny bit of meat after scraping it from the tail. The risotto was fair, very little risotto on the bottom of plate and barely warm. But that dry lobster (both ours) is just such a shame. Getting served that at an actual “lobster bar” is shameful. Total bill ? $240 (oysters, drinks and the Griswold lobsters) utterly annoyed

The restaurant is very pretty and located in Auberge du Vieux Port hotel which is beautiful. We were three for lunch. We went to this restaurant because we had a craving for a lobster roll which two of us ordered. For $32 we found it to be bland and did not contain a large amount of lobster. The third person in our group ordered a fish tacos which was skimpy. None of this could be hard to correct we think and are posting this as constructive feedback. The service was good.

Fantastic menu- some dishes had very small portions. Suggested wine pairings was very good. Music choice could have been better- same Abba songs repeated. Our waiter was fantastic. Hope you do it again next year!

Nice atmosphere! Great service! Nice drinks, food was very nice. Awesome location. Make a reservation!

The table was finished before the booked time. the waiter was great. eating was absolutely amazing. everything in the menu is a hit. the lobster was delicious and came with a delicious beside salad. unfortunately it also came with a holding of frits that covered the half of the plate. although the riddled were good, there were only too many of them. the desserts are also a hot portion right.
