I've been going to the palace for many years. I'm never tired of eating there. Last week, after the reopening of the restaurants, I went back to enjoy the ambience and the forced service as well as the healing food. Thank you.
Once this was my favorite Indian restaurant, not anymore. I called to pick up. The curry lamb ordered what an insult. A medium-sized plastic container full of sauce and literally 4 small lamb pieces for $11.00... are you kidding? How do you spot your customers like that? The herbal Biryani had a few cut carrots and some peas and quite spicy. The chickpeas masala was not for our joy. The only decent thing was the Naanbrot. Basically, I paid 34,50 to have rice. Sooo disappointed! I'm staying at Beau Village on Jarry.
I've eaten Indian food all my life, first in England and then in Canada so I know what I'm talking about. Punjab Palace is one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Montreal and the prices are very reasonable. I've never had a negative experience there...and I urge you to ignore the negative reviews from people who clearly have no palate for Indian food.
This is the worst place to eat Indian Food. I don't recommend this place at all. The food was super oily and half cooked, no flavour on the food. The staff was not supportive.Really disappointed with this place being an Indian. I don't understand why...this place is rated 4.
