Qing Hua Dumpling (chinatown Boul. St Laurent)

Best Dumpling in Montreal and fantastic service. I order steam pork shrimp cloth dumplings. It is very juicy, fired dumplings are very crispy, and price is reasonable. I love this place. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back.

Amazing dumpling place where you have a lot of different dumplings to choose, also dumplings with porc and shrimp. It’s not a fancy place but the cuisine is awesome! Would recommend to go there.

The food is phenomenal. Very budget friendly too. Service is quick enough but the place is a bit noisy since its very popular. Highly recommend the lamb coriander, lamb shrimp and beef cheese dumplings.

The meat dumplings here, according to my boyfriend, are great!! He ordered the pork coriander and beef corn and he thoroughly enjoyed both types! With the pork coriander ranking higher than the beef one in his opinion! Unfortunately for me, a vegetarian, found the vegetarian dumplings pretty lackluster in terms of flavor hence why I give 3 stars. I ordered the tofu vegetable and the zucchini black fungus vermicelli dumplings. The tofu one was pretty mushy inside and the second one was only okay but kind of bland. They were all basic ingredients so I’m not surprised they didn’t taste like much. My boyfriend also tried them and told me that they were nothing compared to the pork and beef ones he ordered. Luckily, i ordered the tofu skin salad (which was pretty good!!! Sweet and savory taste because I dunk my veg dumplings in the salad dressing/sauce which added some flavor to them. I wouldn’t come here again for vegetarian dumplings on my own. But overall, the place seemed very busy the weekend I went and I guess the meat dumplings are a hit!

The service at the chinatown location was extremely slow, we had to wait over 30 mins to get our food and the place wasn't even that busy. I got the shrimp leak egg dumpling which weren't the best, for some reason they switched to disposable plates and their spring rolls were stale and did not taste fresh. This time was overall a disappointment.
