Restaurant Alep - Montréal

The food at this restaurant is incredible and the service is very friendly! We tried the tasting menu and it was a fantastic mix of different dishes. I highly recommend it!

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The service was fantastic, and I really liked that they can deconstruct plates so you can taste a bit of everything you want. The quality-price ratio is great, and I definitely plan to go back. It's the kind of place you want to recommend to all your friends to try.

The food is almost as good as what is served at Damas, but only a little more than half the price. Beautiful atmosphere (fast enough for normal conversation) and excellent service (they even have a sommelier that was a pretty nice surprise for a restaurant... this way, and what was very appreciated given the rather large wine list). Great space for sharing, with a variety of mezzen plates. Although not every dish was a winner (we thought that the chicken in tahini mezze was a bit a strange dish, and that the shish taouk main was too much seasoned), there is more than enough on the big menu to satisfy all. The fatouche salad, the eggplant spread, the fillet mignon brochettes, the garlic shrimps (which you can order through the shrimps, so it will be enough for everyone at the table), and the French fryers. However, they should take their pitas out of the plastic bags before they serve at the table. All in all, a great experience. There is a reason why this restaurant has been in operation for 46 years, which is an eternity in this business. We will return.
