Le Taj for us in at last moment and the food was truly day changing....We had the chaat papri to start and then a vegetable biryani with mixed vegetable curry. It was really tasty and worth every bite. For dessert we had ras malai and gulab jamun which was just right. The masala chai was a let down though. But overall, we were delighted and would definitely go again when we're in Montreal. The setting was warm and inviting. Great place
Good dinner. Real and good Indian food. The dining room has something nice decor, but it is not too big, so the restaurant is full at many times. Reservations recommended. Pays what I expected not cheap, but good value for what we had. Butter chicken was the best ever. For special occasions.
There were five different dishes for the sorts and divided. ask the server for suggestions. great place for a group!
I was in Montreal for two nights with friends. Both nights we came to Le Taj. In the first night we were only in the mood for Indian food. But the food was so good that we had to go for another night. The service was so...friendly We need to talk to the owner who was so nice. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal.
We have eaten here in the evening as it was just above the street from the sofitel hotel where we were and are glad that we are here. it was very busy but eating and the service is good. the locals have a high praise for this family-run, beautifully decorated restaurant. I had the dahl suppe, which was fresh and tasty, an salat with huhn and naan, since I was not so hungry. I enjoyed all three dishes.
