Restaurant Salateen - Montréal

This restaurant is under new administration, I ordered the regular hot and sour soup and it had no veggies in it anymore, just broth for 3.99! Chicken tikka

We were recommend Restaurant Salateen by some family friends and decided to give it a try.

When it first opened, I was impressed. Good food, good prices, good quantities. Last two visits, smaller portions, stingy on meat in meat dishes, rice plates are smaller but service seems to have improved. I do not think I will go back. Perhaps they have changed admin? Used to be a nice place and we always ordered keema or chicken naan. This time I think they forgot that the naans were supposed to have meat. But they did remember to charge the price of a meat naan.

Excellent food..spicy Schezwan stylecooking with a desi touch Personal favorite is the Schezwan chicken..Hakka Noodles..Fried rice ..portions are good,though I felt let down by thge soup size and cost..$3.99 for a very small bowl..(Avoidable)

I always eat butter chicken at Indian restaurants, and by far salateen has the best butter chicken! Strongly Recommend
