You wouldn’t even know it by the high quality of the food. The sushi, appetizers, and desserts are all made in house. I’ve been here for various occasions and quick bites, and have always left happy and full, as have my guests. It’s a must-try!
The response from the restaurant was unacceptable. Despite sending them pictures of the avocado pit and calling them daily for a whole week, they only offered credit for 1 roll (approximately $8.00). However, when we returned to the restaurant to redeem the credit, they took an unnecessarily long time to validate it. Overall, I would rate this experience as zero stars if possible.
Located on Décarie near Queen Mary, this Kosher Asian restaurant is quite popular. When our group of 20 arrived all at once, we experienced some delays in service. We began our meal with a refreshing salad, followed by sushi in a flavorful sauce. I opted for the seared salmon with vegetables and noodles, which was delicious. All of the dishes at the table were excellent. For dessert, we enjoyed cigar-shaped cookies filled with chocolate. Delicious!
We chose to take our family of six to Saizen for sushi because it is in our extended neighborhood. The Menu had a few gluten-free selections, food was presented nicely, and service was good. The restaurant decor was not remarkable, and it was drafty with cold air whenever the entrance door was opened. Unfortunately, Saizen is not a cozy setting for a large party.
Best sushi in town! I've been to lots of Kosher restaurants and this is far the best one. Great ambiance, amazing food, and very good service. The chef has the creativity to create something out of nothing! Purely heaven in your mouth! The sushi has great taste and amazing flavor, and the presentation is just breathtaking! I am forever a loyal customer for sure! Highly recommended!
