We had the chef’s choice sashimi order, chef’s choice nigiri, a specialty maki (with unagi) and a separate order of sushi, edamame to start along with the salmon noodles. Everything was really good. Salmon noodle was my least favorite and it was suggested by our server but I thought it was kind of bland even though it had really good Yuzu sauce on it. I just felt like since we already had so much fish it could’ve been suggested to us to have something a little different. Overall service was really good. I had really good wine as well! Ambiance is nice quiet and intimate .
Excellent food and great service. One tiny comment that they should bring out the cocktail before starter plate.
The entire staff was friendly and attentive while very efficient. It’s amazing how they create a relaxing atmosphere with as busy as it was. The sushi was as good as it was beautiful and let me tell you it was beautiful!
Accessibility note: Unfortunately, this restaurant is not wheelchair accessible as there are several steps leading up to the entrance and no ramp available.
Hidden Fish is my absolute favorite sushi restaurant in Montreal! I have visited many places, but none can compare. The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious. I have never had a bad roll, no matter what I order. The service is always excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely and tranquil. Overall, Hidden Fish will always be my top choice for sushi in Montreal, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
