Sushi Nippon - Montréal

If you're seeking a no-frills spot (not ideal for romantic dates, but I came for the food), with friendly service and high-quality ingredients, this is the place to go! I can't stand Sushi Shops or chain restaurants that serve bland, artificially-bleached fish to prevent food poisoning. I sampled a variety of rolls and mainly sashimi, and I must say the quality is exceptional! The dishes are flavorful and fresh, and the portion sizes are reasonable for the price (my lunch cost about $40, tip included), which is hard to come by nowadays, especially in downtown Montreal. I'll definitely be returning soon!

This restaurant serves delicious sushi and is perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. I keep coming back here because the sushi is always fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable for the portions you receive. I highly recommend checking this place out.

If you're looking for a simple place (not the best for dating, but I went for the food), with nice service and fresh ingredients, this is the place! I hate Sushi Shops or all these franchises which sell tasteless fish which has been literally bleached just to ensure no food poisoning. I got to try a few rolls but sashimis mostly: these are great quality! Very tasty and fresh. Portions are fair for the price (my lunch for ~40$, tip included) which is rare nowadays, especially Montreal downtown. Will go again soon!

Good food, modest pricing, small seating area but it appears most people don't sit down to eat. Not particularly busy even on a Friday night. Would return, just wouldn't get gyoza again. Not crispy/fried, just steamed. Get the Krispy shrimp roll.

I love this place no frills but always delicious and well priced
