The view from this restaurant is breathtaking, making it worth a visit just for a drink while enjoying the Old Port from above. However, I would not recommend the food. I ordered their signature burger and it tasted terrible - like it was leftover from the day before. It was so bad it could be used as a hammer. Also, there was no foie gras as promised on the menu.
The overall experience was good… the drinks were good but our service was very slow. The server was slow and asked for a second bottle of water three times and never received. The oysters took over an hour and were finally received at the END of the fireworks show. The champagne was great and the view was spectacular. Overall good experience but would not pay that much for a similar experience again.
Not a Nice view of thé fireworks Not worth for Wath we paid Will not go back
We decided to attend the Fireworks Festival special seating at this restaurant. Despite there being only three of us, we were informed that we had to purchase the package for four, which cost a total of $370. This package was only available for groups of two or four people, and guaranteed a prime reservation to view the fireworks display. However, when we arrived, all the premium tables on the front patio had already been taken, many by customers without reservations. We were then seated in the back, next to the restroom wall behind a flower box and a pole. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, we were reassured that we would still be able to see everything, but this turned out to be untrue. Additionally, our waitress failed to inform us that we could have simply ordered drinks or food off the regular menu, instead of purchasing the package for four people.
