Tete Carree - Montréal

We stopped here because we saw the lemonade. It turned out to be fabulous. He switches out the fruit flavor every few weeks to keep things new and high quality. You can pick your own mint to place in your drink. The strawberry was fabulous.We also tried a cucumber cold soup (gazpacho?). Very tasty. Give this Nova Scotian a try! He's serious about his food and he has a definite point of view. He's ready to talk about his efforts, too.

Recommended by our son and lived up to all expectations. We shared the gezpacho; donair wrap; cod, potatoe and chorizo flatbread; salad; fresh ricotta and peas flatbread; and some grilled corn. Everything was great. It's one of our favorite spots at Jean Talon

I've lived by the market for the last 12 years and it's a regular stop. Over the last couple years the dining options have gotten much better, and this little stall is a gem. Seasonal, fresh, inspired grilled flat breads. Something for everyone, and always a fresh lemonade available on the side. The price is right at under $10 for a quick bite.

I have been here twice with a group of people, and we almost tried just about everything on the menu. Each time their flavours were unique—a surprise to the palate and were bang-on. The owner and chef will take the time to guide you through their seasonal menu with detailed explanation on his creations. It’s a must to visit when we’re at Marché Jean-Talon.

Our visits to Montreal are never complete without dropping by Josh’s Tete Carree stand located in the Jean-Talon Market.Josh makes the best grilled flat breads! Regularly switching the menu allows for creative combinations of fresh local ingredients that are in season. His lobster wrap sells out quickly and so do his daily specials so it’s smart to arrive early. My favourite this past weekend was the ‘Jean-Talon flatbread’ which was a delicious blend of sweet and salty made with 3 different kinds of beets. Yum!
