The Palm Court At The Ritz-carlton – The Afternoon Tea Experience

I think the decor could use some updating. We were seated at a corner table that had a mix of chairs and sofas. The sofas were so soft that you really sank into them, which made sitting at the table feel oddly low and uncomfortable.

I visited the restaurant with another couple, and we shared a charcuterie board, a cheese platter, chicken wings, and foie gras brûlée. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but I have a few comments. The foie gras was served with only three small blinis, which wasn’t enough for the amount of foie gras provided; it would have been nice to have some bread, crackers, or additional blinis on the side. The cheese plate included dried fruit, but I think a fruit chutney would have paired better with it. On the other hand, the charcuterie board and chicken wings were perfect as they were presented. The service and ambiance of the restaurant were excellent.

The food and service were outstanding— everything was flawless from beginning to end. Thank you!

The service at the Palm Court was wonderful. The place gave off a very nice ambience and I enjoyed the fact that the experience was like sitting in a very luxurious coffee shop with delicious food. We sat on a comfy fabric arm chair with a table between us. Tables and the bar are available, however. Noise levels are perfect. I could actually hear myself speak without hearing the ones around you. A wedding reception was happening as well and started an hour after we came in. Very fun to watch! I'd recommend going on a Friday for those that wish to have a dinner sans wedding reception in the background. It did not ruin my experience at all, just being mindful : The food was delicious and well portioned. Was hoping the appetizers would be slightly bigger in portion.

The food was amazing! The desserts were exquisite! The service was very slow.
