I ordered a falafel sandwich and it was missing key ingredients that make a falafel sandwich delicious. The garlic and tahini sauce were not fresh and came in a plastic bottle, affecting the taste. I suggest not eating here unless you have to. The dry falafel sandwich cost $4.29 before tax, which was a total waste of money.
The customer service was extremely poor, making us regret being patrons and placing an order. The food lacked flavor and was disappointing. We would advise against dining at Villa Medina.
I visited Villa Madina for the first time yesterday on Marcel-Laurin and had a fantastic experience! I used to frequent Basha, but recently their quality has declined and prices have gone up, so I decided to try Villa Madina instead. The salads were varied and delicious, the garlic potatoes were perfectly cooked, the beef and chicken were tender, and the rice was flavorful. The staff was friendly and the service was efficient. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience and would highly recommend Villa Madina.
It is not often that you feel welcome in a fast food restaurant. Generally, it is order and out of the way. There in this restaurant of Villa Madina, the server takes the time to explain what is in the dishes and what combination is better. Shawarma and...Shish-Taouk are the stars on their high spikes that turn into the heat of the grill. Juices drop slowly on the lower part of the cone of meat and when ready they are trimmed on a plate. The accompaniments are the usual rice, potatoes or couscous, along with salads such as Fattoush and Tabouleh. Portions are generous and include a nice warm Pita bread provided in the hummus and garlic Mayo. In this restaurant, if you don't like Middle Eastern food, you can go to the next counter and choose Thai soups and noodles. But this will be for another day.
You will find all the typical Lebanese dishes at this fast food emporium located in the Les Cours Mont-Royal building in the food court underground.
