Even though it's located a bit outside of the city center, this authentic restaurant, driven by quality and with a chef from Guanajuato, is a hidden gem that we can't wait to revisit soon. The generous dishes are served with a personal touch, and there is a genuine feeling that customers are valued. The delicious ingredients and sauces set this restaurant apart from the typical Mexican eateries you might come across. They also offer a variety of Mexican beers and wines. Convenient street parking is a bonus, and it's not too far from the Jean Talon market. A visit here is definitely worth your time and money! Enjoy your meal!
Yesterday afternoon, I dropped by for a snack of shrimp tostadas.
Just had the Chilaquiles at Viva Mexico. Fantastic, having flashbacks of Oaxaca. Will be back for dinner soon!
We went to this restaurant, I, my wife and our 12-year-old boy. hoping to eat good Mexican food. Too bad! The service was very slow. Despite that we were only 5 customers in the restaurant. and this, on a Friday night! I ate a beef and cheese dish... except the big hair found in my plate, really! the meat was good, but very badly presented in the plate, except that the rice was extremely soft and viscous. My boy ate a dish with very dry and hard chicken rolls. accompanied by a rusty salad and raw tomatoes that were too wally... They were not fresh! I stop there for the dishes! The lady left by saying to the young lady... you're lucky to have had a tip. A real vaudeville comedy. We are in Montreal...There are other restaurants!.
