We had a wonderful family dinner with two teenagers at this restaurant. The food was fantastic! For appetizers, we tried the bark tarts and escargots, and for our main course, we ordered the mushroom ravioli and a perfectly cooked love steak fries. The staff was attentive and friendly, making our evening extra special. Despite being busy and popular on a Saturday night, the noise level was surprisingly low, possibly due to the high ceilings. We will definitely be returning to this amazing restaurant in Old Montreal.
I was seduced by the food, the personal and the impossibly great high ceilings in this friendly but beautiful corner brasserie directly opposite the awe-inspiring Notre-Dame basilika by montreal. for a short stay assortment, the hotel place d’armes is renovated during my home, I was happy to find a impeccable and charming service and a mouth-water menu when I arrive in B701, only from the hotel lobby, where you can find a late lunch. the maitre d’hotel meghan treated me like a royalty when she sat me immediately on the window and let me laugh and open her charm in a few seconds. marwan immediately presented the mainverte, a refreshingly unsweetened cocktail, which was apparently tailored for hypnotic views through the expansive windows at the first snowfall of the season. meghan recommended the crispy and tangy house salad that I paired grilled aubergine. only a real joy to feel super well, to stay a little longer than I had expected with meghan and marwan who, despite the experienced profis, knew how to distract this diner from a hektc work plan with their talk. you wouldn't know that the staff ended their layer and passed over to the food service because they made me feel at home all the time. I recommend it very much!
That is a stunning restaurant, I have made the MTL table experience. the beet carpaccio and shrimp were beautiful, the main course of the pork pliers was terrible. it was gristy and hard to cut. I was served a bottle of wine that was very good....I was challenged when I tried to send it back, and the manager then tried and immediately went to shoot it out. it was replaced by another wein. when I pointed out that my pork pliers were not to wish, he cried and did nothing. there was unfortunately no offer of any changes for my terrible wein experience. there were several different people who serve us to eat and there was little or no relationship to the servers. we felt after. I was really excited to eat here, but felt like she really wasn't interested in our experience.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated with very nice music being played. The food is delicious and we ended up eating here four times during our five day trip to Montreal. Meghan the manager is wonderful And so charming and helpful. Megan make sure that everyone...is comfortable and has everything they need and is enjoying their meal. I would recommend this place to everyone I know.
