Le Bout du Lac - Montriond Avoriaz

We were here last year and only had time for a drink after walking up to the Falls but when we saw the food being served up to others we made a promise to return when we came back to Morzine this year.We booked a table when we arrived at the lake and then went for a walk. As well we did as the terrace was full when we returned.The set menus look very good value but we didn't want three courses so two of us had local fish dishes and my daughter had one of the speciality salads. Service was really friendly and the food perfectly cooked. Portion sizes were generous. The setting for the restaurant is sublime. It was truly a memorable lunch and we will be going back there before we return home

The restaurant at the top end of the lake offers fantastic views down it to the mountains.We have been here every year for 30 years and the food is always excellent the service incredible. However we think the owner has a portrait in the attic, for while we have aged she looks just the same as 30 years ago, the secret perhaps living in this glorious place.

Dined on a full service Easter Sunday boat tour of Lake Geneva. It was amazing! Great food, great service and a great view. One of a kind experience!

Whilst on holiday in the area we stopped here for a midday meal. Despite being busy they were able to accommodate three of us without notice. We had an excellent meal ( fondue) the service was efficient and friendly. The restaurant is in a lovely situation at the end of the lake of Montriond easily accessible both on foot and by car. Would certainly visit again when in the area.

What a lovely setting! This restaurant is open for most of the year which is good to know as lots of places shut down in low season. It's situated right on the lake and the views are stunning. We chose a set menu for €22 which was 3 courses and really good food. The children's menu at €10 is great value for an omelette, chips and salad - it also included an ice cream. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
