The Burger By Wegmans - Montvale

HELLO! I'm a representative from the OSHA board and I come into various stores and supermarkets scouting out the Pros and the Cons. I've seen This guy at the little falls shop rite and now he's at wegmans. he's best known for being rated #1 for top customer service in New Jersey. He never fails to find an item for you and help you save money on a product. If I could give him a raise I would and wegmans should indeed for the amount he's worth. I never see any other employees on the sales floor but Vincenzo. No offense to the other workers but they need to step up to the plate like Vincenzo has done. KEEP IT UP VINCENZO! 10/10 would recommend

I went to Wegmans of Montvale, NJ on 12/31/21 to pick up my previously ordered lobsters and shrimp and I found that the lobsters were ready but the shrimp was not available. I was directed to a table where shrimp trays were available but in much larger quantities that I needed for a party of 2. I asked a that person behind the seafood counter if I could get some help for a 1 lb tray of steamed shrimp and was advised that it was either the larger prepared trays or nothing. This is the second time (but will be the last time) I was disappointed by Wegmans seafood department for a New Years Eve. Stop trying to take advantage of your customers just because it is a special night or your customers will stop shopping there.

Having lived in Upstate NY for a good stint of time, I've always loved Wegmans. Having a few options in NJ has been so fun as I love their options especially since they carry a lot of NY products as well. It's always clean, spacious, well organized and stocked with plenty of organic options. Their proteins and hot bar is always nice to help make mealtime easy, even during a crunch. You know when you go to Wegmans that you're going to be able to find whatever you need at a reasonable price and you're never hunting to ensure that you're not grabbing a spoiled item.

Wegmans is the Disney World of supermarkets. Not only is the entire location clean, but it's well stocked, has a helpful staff, and has every item imaginable. Yes, even liquor. Take a gander at the pics of the avocados. This is the only supermarket where I see them this size. Every turn was filled with nicely staged views, pleasant surprises, and it was an absolute pleasure shopping here. If you're in the area, please walk through Wegmans. You will fill up your cart with lots of goodies where you will enjoy fresh produce and products.

Was so excited to hear of this supermarket coming to the area, as we had slim pickings prior. Always clean bright. Very nice sized produce dept but buyer beware- read your labels. More more items from foreign countries at top prices, while our farmers are starving. You are paying top dollar for produce that looks wonderful- just don't eat it! To make a general term for what I've experienced, everything tastes like a cucumber- nothing has taste anymore. The fruit is tasteless. Not saying it's the stores fault per se, but this is what we have come to today in this country. Pay top dollar for tasteless food. As of late they only sell avocados from Peru, sometimes Chile (like most they have to offer) and they never get soft once brought home- they just rot. Very large selection of many products, which is nice. I find it hard to get olive oil being 100% from Italy but Wegmans has their own brand which I buy often. It's very tasty. Purchasing the store brand certainly saves some money but everything is quite expensive- much more than ShopRite. When busy you'll be bumping carts with many which is frequently. I only shop here for certain items I can't get elsewhere. I'm starting to go to local farms to get food that has taste. I do love their fish counter, as everything is super fresh. I have has issue with the bags of mussels as they are frequently broken which means they must be thrown away. Meat selection is decent but much more than Uncle G's whose meat is far superior in taste texture. What is a plus is the liquor store is attached, so I don't have to make another trip elsewhere. Great selection of wines spirits, along with the latest greatest hard seltzers, etc, that are so popular.
