The pizzas were well-made, but other than one local specialty, the menu only had typical options. The grilled dishes were also decent. It lacked something to make it stand out. The staff was friendly and the restaurant is situated in a popular sports area near the city center.
Located next to the finish line of the Vasaloppet, a world-renowned cross-country ski race attracting over 15,000 skiers, this restaurant must have a prime business location. On a rainy Saturday, six of us had lunch here. Despite the heavy rain keeping people indoors, the restaurant was not very busy. I ordered the lamb kebab with tasty tzatziki sauce and potatoes, while my wife had a generously portioned pork fillet that I ended up helping her finish. Priced at less than $20, the meal was a good value considering the overall high prices in Sweden. We all enjoyed our lunch and appreciated the good service. While dining, we also noticed several pizzas being served to other tables, so we might return one day to try them out.
Food was ok but expensive, even for Sweden and choice fairly limited (ok if you like steak). Pleasant staff.
After an exhaustive day in the wilderness of Sweden we arrived in mora in the evening. We asked in our hostel for a recommendation for dinner and this one was not a bad one! We had an excellent pizza and salad, and the staff was very friendly and nice. Even though we had some language barrier, we came along very well.
