The black bean burger was good the patty was slightly over baked but still did the trick. We also had some egg frittata the next day for breakfast and that too was amazingly done (veggies and not very spicy), the side of potatoes almost in wedges style were cherry on the top for our meal.
Friend and I were going from Yellowstone Lake to Jackson, and couldn't get a meal at Grant Village because they needed reservations. This was the next available place and perhaps the only one too. We were seated quickly, and the service was quick and friendly. I had the fruit bowl you have to ask for dessert they don't have a menu for that. And I had the chicken alfredo which was a huge serving, and lasted me for breakfast the next morning too. Food was okay.
On our second night, there were 11 of us in the group, and they struggled to accommodate such a large party. I ordered a ribeye steak cooked medium rare, but it came out rare and cold. I sent it back, and the waiter admitted there had been a mix-up and that they had served me a frozen steak, so be cautious about that. Some members of our group shared a meal, only to discover when we went to pay that there was an $8 charge for sharing a plate, which only included an extra side. It's also important to note that parties of eight or more automatically have a gratuity added to the bill, but this is not reflected in the itemized bill; it only appears on the credit card receipt with a blank line for an additional tip. So, be aware of that as well.
The customer service was good, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The omelet was burnt and resembled a pancake. When we requested a redo, we were informed that it would come out the same way in 20 minutes. For dinner, I ordered asparagus with chicken, and the asparagus was overcooked and looked unappetizing. I definitely won't be returning. It’s not worth the price; I would prefer to drive to the next town for a meal instead. It seems like the only reason they’re still in business is that they are the only restaurant option within an 11-12 mile radius.
A delightful surprise! When we arrived at the campground, it was pouring rain, so we were thrilled to discover that they had a restaurant on-site. Honestly, we would have been satisfied with anything that spared us from having to cook in the rain, but the food here was exceptional. The elk medallions and trout completely outshone our previous fine dining experience, and it was much more affordable. The service was warm and attentive. We had such a wonderful time that we returned for breakfast, which was equally fantastic!
