We popped onto gift shop and found it quite pricey.. some of the items were a bit samey and some of the items were more expensive than other gift shops. Used to love the garden centre but it caters more for the younger people in the large play area and disappointed in selection of plants.
We popped in for a breakfast over the festive period when we were out and about, we both said it was one of the best breakfasts we had had in a while. The place is very clean and the staff attentive.
On my receipt it has this establishment as The Deli, 4 Southfield Drive, Elgin . Pleasant staff, a good layout, clean toilets and a fine ambience. Our soup of the day, with oatcake, was enjoyable at under £4 each. The thing that stuck in my memory of the place, was ordering a glass of milk, expecting for £1.80, a large glass, not a tiny one. You can buy over 2 litres of milk for less than that! Shocking! Just because of that, I won 't be returning to The Deli.
My son was in doing his theory test. I popped in for a coffee and bacon roll. The bacon roll was delicious... cooked to perfection. No fat. TOp marks. This was followed by a latte and chocolate and orange scone.... then my son had a panini. The Deli had a lovely atmosphere and it was very comfortable on the leather sofas. The staff were very friendly and helpful and happy. Out assistant was Janna. It's a cafe I would highly recommend and this is now going to be somewhere I make a regular visit to. Value for money, a great selection in the menu. Be back soon.
I went to this restaurant for a surprise birthday party. The buffet offerings of savory and sweet dishes were absolutely delicious and there was plenty of food to go around. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
