I 've been in Raps twice and both times was totally disappointed with the way I was treated by the same two bar tenders and their so called manager. I 've owned my own bar and have never treated my customers the way these jerks treat people. I was there last night for a friends birthday. She called ahead and ask if she should make reservations. They told her only if she had a party of 20 or more. When we got there some of our party had already gotten a table. Well apparently since we were not seated by one of their wait staff they told us we had to move. The place wasn 't full. Many open tables. We went to the bar to wait for a table. We were there for 1 1/2 hours and never got a table. While at the bar I bought three shots. It cost me $18 dollars. The shots were not top shelf. I politely asked the bar tender why the shots were so much. Well that was apparently enough of reason to go to her manager . He came over and told me I was cursing at his bartenders. Totally not true. He was actually trying to start something with me. I twice turned away from him and ignored him. He continued to try to start something. I have never in my life been at a place where they treat their paying customers so rudely and will never go there again. The place isn 't all that to begin with. We all got up and went over to The Ice house. They seated us immediately and we all had wonderful meals and were treated very well by their wait staff. We all enjoyed magic by Chuck and our waitress, Melody, was great.
