Promise Land Market - Morehead City

This place is very hard to rate. Staff is friendly, but not very attentive. Food is really good, but portions are absolutely horrendous. Atmosphere is decent, but borderline identity crisis going on. Look, this place has promise . In no way am I rooting for them to fail. Here 's the thing, you want to last on Arrendell, you NEED to stop making the same mistakes everyone else does. Price MUST match portions. I don 't care how good it is. This isn 't NY, this isn 't Paris. A near $5 upcharge for any side that 's not fries (or chips), and it be 3 bites worth, is insulting. This type of greed will never fill those seats in there, and you 'll have to close just like your predecessors did. Other restaurants can do it, so spare us all the 'inflation ' excuse. This place can 't have fine dinning prices, but portions suitable for a toddler. Not going to work yall. I hope this review will be taken in a way to open yalls eyes in how to improve, so that you CAN make it long term around here. I wasn 't trying to be harsh, but someone 's got to speak up about the operation there. So, so much promise indeed, but there 's rook for improvement.

Everything is so good! Food, people that work here and wine selection. Definitely recommend.

This place is amazing for all kinds of hours you can grab a quick bite for lunch have dinner before it gets to late or utilize the bar when it gets later. They have over 28 beers on tap and a wide variety of wines as well. The food is very good and the service was very fast even with a large party, the server Didn’t write down a single order and not even one thing was missed pretty impressive. The Gouda Mac and cheese and sweet potato fries are killer compliments to the wonderful burgers!

Most awesome shrimp salad sandwich. Really just perfect. Sourdough toast, tomato, cucumber. Light and fresh!

Stopped here by accident and it paid off! Open the door to the wine bar then stroll over to your left to the dining room. The margherita pizza was excellent and the small was more than enough for one. Save room for dessert!
