Pop's Southern Style Bbq - Morehead

You know who makes bbq better than pop 's? .no body!

This was our first time dining at Pops in a year, and my partner and I were really looking forward to it. However, we were disappointed when we received our order. Last year, the catfish we had was a generous filet that practically filled the entire plate, and it came with a good portion of sides. This time, we were served two small, paper-thin pieces of catfish that had barely any flavor, although the coating was quite tasty! The sides were also served in very small, spicy cups. We felt let down! If this is how things are now, I doubt we'll be coming back. As we leave, we're seriously considering grabbing a proper meal after spending $18 each on this.

Eating is excellent along with excellent service. I wish I could stare more. make one fall and stop them!

This restaurant offers the best in home-style country cooking! The food is amazing, and the ambiance is both rustic and cozy. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. What more could you want?
