Ok for some reason we’ve only tried A1 at some of the other outlets, never the big Brunswick one. Oh my god, it’s amazing. The cheese in the spinach and cheese triangle was so incredibly fresh and soft. The meat pizza was fantastic. A great coffee too. We will trek back over again soon!<br/ <br/ It’s hectic inside but they run a tight ship.
There is a reason A1 is always packed. If you value your happiness, you must order the foul moudammas too delicious for words. They also have some of the best falafel. All baked items can be made with vegan cheese instead of regular cheese if you would so prefer. You will froth.
I'm so lucky to live down the street from this local gem. There are lots of Lebanese bakeries around but A1 is one of the best thanks to its large space and varied, inexpensive, vegan-friendly menu. I usually go for the falafel platter full of pickles and tahini. But a haloumi pizza or pide and a coffee is always a great option as well.
The labne here is so rich and flavourful! Everything was so delicious and fresh for such a budget price. Super efficient service to handle the crowds.
