Essendon Salera's Pizza & Pasta

This restaurant in Essendon serves some of the best pizza in the area. The owner is friendly, humble, and a fantastic person. Be sure to try their King Size pizza and pasta dishes. They also offer great deals for diners in the surrounding suburbs. I highly recommend checking them out.

I had a fantastic experience with this restaurant. I ordered the Sicilian pasta through Uber Eats and it arrived promptly. I requested no anchovies and was pleased to see that my order was correct. The dish was full of flavor and the portion size was quite generous. The serving was equivalent to two regular takeaway containers, making it a great value for the affordable price. I will definitely be ordering from here again in the near future.

Saleras has been my family's go to pizza place for a couple of years now. It's changed hands a few times but has been the same owners for the past couple of years at least. Pizzas are cheap, at under $10 for a large and even cheaper on Tuesdays for pick up. Not my favourite pizzas in town, but great for the price. It's all you want from a local pizza place really. They make a mean chicken pizza, worth a try. They have a EFTPOS minimum, and from memory even two large pizzas still puts you under the minimum. But that is also a good thing depends which way you look at it!
