Mamma Lina's Bar Cafe - Moreland

Came to do a trial disgusting kitchen worst I've ever seen, how is this place operational and hasnt been shut down by the health department

The food is served so fresh and perfect. Service is amazingly friendly. Love this place. Will definitely be going there often

Restaurant had friendly staff and just average ambience . We had meatballs and saganaki for starters. The meatballs were delicious, juicy and succulent. The saganaki cheese was a little dry. Had carbonara and Spagatti marinara for the mains. They were very big portion sizes. Both the dishes were good. Dessert was vanilla creme brûlée, it was lovely! The salami pizza was below average and was too salty. All dishes were well presented.

Very mediocre I had a linguine laziale with pumpkin and feta in a tomato sauce. Also garlic bread. My wife had the vegetarian focaccia. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio. The linguine was over cooked no concept of al dent! I had to request Parmesan. The garlic bread was served with the meal instead of being put on the table to nibble on with my wine. My wife remarked the the caremelized onions in her focaccia were greasy... I ordered another glass of wine and it took until I'd finished my meal for them to bring it. Could have been worse and the waiters were very friendly. But how hard can it be to make pasta right? I make pasta better than this, and I'm not a chef!

I would not recommend Mamma Linas. We just had breakfast there. The pancake appeared to be microwaved as it had hard inedible bits around the edges. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict tasted fake and airy, like it was made from a packet mix. Milkshakes were good though but my latte came as a flat white!
