The bubble tea store itself is quite large and spacious. The decor is interesting, there’s a telephone booth next to a vine covered wall on the left side of the shop when you first walk in and all the seating are on the right hand side. With ordering, they had two self serve kiosks that were easy to use and had plenty of pictures and descriptions. I like how this boba shop has a lot of unique drinks I don’t usually see at other stores. Iended up ordering the mango swirl with the recommended 100% sweetness with the star fruit jelly and the Thai Oreo brûlée that is half sweet for my dad. My only regret is listening to the recommendation because the mango swirl was overly sweet for me and tasted like blended candy, favor-wise the mango is good but I wish I had water to wash it down. The Thai Oreo brûlée on the other hand was perfect, the Oreos mixed in provided a nice crunch and the Thai tea tasted good. Overall, I wish they didn’t only have the self serve kiosk so I could ask the staff questions about the sweetness of the drinks. I also felt ignored since no one welcomed us in or acknowledged our existence. The staff completely ignored eye contact and I barely heard anything when my drinks were done. But the drinks were made quickly and it is neat to see all their unique drink combinations.
It seems like a meet-up spot for friends, but when you look at it it's really bare bones on the things to do with friends. You can only pay with card or tap, no cash and the workers don't really want to talk to people. It's like they want to be a robot owned place without having robots,Parking: Very hard to get a spot close and hard AF to get in. A cramped space and cars almost never leaving but always moving through it.
You order and pay on a tablet. And there is so much to choose from. It was my first time I didn't know what to pick. So of course I had to ask. I decide to get the taro with brown sugar boba. Going back soon to try there Thai tea!
Their Taro Storm here is as good as Kung Fu Tea in Riverside. I will buy here because it is close to my house and I want to recommend this Boba St. to my acquaintances.
I go here all the time on my lunch break. The service is great, and their matcha is to die for. I 10/10 recommend trying this place.Parking: It gets crowded because of the Taco Bell across from it.Kid-friendliness: Yes, everyone there is friendly to all. The atmosphere is cozy and cute.
