I was very disappointed with my experience. I called Lorenzo's to order a pizza for my sick wife and me, and when I explained to the manager that he would need to enter a code to access my apartment, he responded in a smug and rude manner. When I pointed out his rudeness, he simply said, "Great." I've never encountered such poor customer service in my life.
Best Pizza in town by far. There is no comparison. Best special sauce ever, great salads and amazing meatballs. Must experience...
The pizza was delicious and the restaurant appeared relatively clean, although there were a couple of empty tables that hadn't been cleared. But really, which place doesn't have that? My main concern arose when we entered and my husband went ahead to tell them we were there to pick up our order. The staff was friendly and chatty at first, but everything changed the moment they noticed my child and me. While they remained polite, there was a noticeable distance in their demeanor. We observed that all the other customers were white, and we felt their eyes on us as we waited for our order. It’s surprising that in today's world, you can still feel unwelcome, especially when you're spending the same as everyone else. I'm willing to give them another chance to see if things are different next time. Perhaps they were just unfamiliar with us. I don’t know. They were perfectly fine with my husband and my child, but I barely received any acknowledgment.
