One of the best dining experiences in the Cotswolds Tasting menu was a great mix of local ingredients brought together in a unique style. Both chef and front of house have Michelin experience so know what they're doing and we felt incredibly well looked after. Every dish had multiple elements to it that elevated it to the next level. Even the optional cheese course had been carefully thought out with 3 amazing varieties. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and great quality for the price. It’s one of my new favourite restaurants. They change the menu regularly, so you have the opportunity to try new delicious cuisine often. We visited to celebrate our anniversary, and we had one of the best meals of our life. What a fantastic operation that Darren and Nick have put together. The two of them work seamlessly together, with Nick providing superb service at the front of house, and Darren providing all sorts of pleasures for the tastebuds from their tasting menu. Each course (7 including a superb bread course) was a feast for the senses, and you can feel the care and attention as the plates are placed in front of you and rotated to ensure it is appreciated from the best angle. We did not have the wine pairing, but from overhearing others, Nick sounds very knowledgeable and we would be very tempted next time we are in the area.
